%utah wedding photographer %wedding photojournalism || Following up on Friday’s post of Groomals, we have Kavitha & Fred’s gorgeous Indian ceremony in the fragrance garden of Red Butte Garden.

Indian ceremonies are known for a few things: their duration (though this one was highly modified to just a couple of hours); their amazing colors; their complex symbolism; and their sense of fun and celebration! Sharp-eyed readers may have noted that our groom Fred’s ancestors probably hailed from somewhere a bit further east than India, and so it was great fun to watch someone be at the center of all this pageantry without really knowing what was going on.

Fred weathered it like a champ!

%utah wedding photographer %wedding photojournalism || Zach and Tiffanee are serious bicycle enthusiasts. So serious in fact that they peddled their road bikes across the entire state of Iowa! This will explain all of the bike shots. We had so much fun on this shoot. I got a good workout running alongside the two of them as they road up and down city creek canyon. I love mixing it up with some action and playful fun and these two were a blast!

After the bicycle shoot we went up to Red Butte Gardens for a little different type of nature. The flowers and plants and trees offer so much color and texture. It was perfect for a natural shoot with some formal elements. Thank you Tiffanee and Zach! I can’t wait to post your wedding photos!!!
