Well since we’re stuck here in winter for a few more weeks we might as well celebrate it. I can’t think of a better way than to share this gorgeous album from McCall & Ryan’s December sealing the Salt Lake Temple that culminated in a stunning winter reception at Sundance Resort!
McCall had a lot of images to pare it down from: we did an engagement session, a bridal AND groomal session, the temple sealing and the reception. The only thing to do was go BIG! So here we have a 12×16 inch, 100-side beauty dolled up in McCall’s own inspired combination of gold ostrich and copper metallic leathers. As beautiful as it looks here, this album really needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Its positively decadent!

Today is Whitnee and Nick’s big day! Their
I had the hardest time picking out only a “few” of my favorites from Julianne and Weston’s groomal session. Julianne was so beautiful in her custom gown from
I had such a blast with Jessi for her bridals. She may be little but she has quite the spunky personality! Jessi was game for anything I asked her to do and we went all over downtown. I loved these bridals so much I have had a hard time picking only a few for this blog. I guess I wasn’t very successful at narrowing it down. We just such a variety of wonderful shots!
Dana hails from Down Under (Australia, not Provo) and though she talks funny, she’s also beautiful and just a heap ‘o fun, to boot.
Tara was so photogenic in her engagements; a real knock-out! I just couldn’t wait to do her bridals. When she arrived to the Capitol Building, she nearly took my breath away. I can’t imagine how Jared will reacted when he saw his bride for the first time. Tara was such an elegant bride and seemed so calm and comfortable for our shoot. Her look is absolutley timeless. Some of the photographs we got could have been taken fifty years ago.
Utah has some simply gorgeous backdrops for hosting a wedding – some unlike anything else on earth – and I have been privileged to get to know most of them. Its rare then that I hear of a ceremony in a location that is entirely new to me, and that’s why I was so intrigued when Julia and Dan told me that they were getting married at the Storm Mountain natural amphitheater. Storm Mountain is located about 2 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon (home to the Brighton and Solitude ski resorts). I knew about the amphitheater, but I’d never heard of anyone having their ceremony there. Now that I’ve seen one, I wonder why not.
