As many of you probably know we have a sister studio that specializes in contemporary child and family portraiture run by our very own Logan Walker – Sprout Photo. Sprout’s style is characterized by genuine, spontaneous expressions and candid, penetrating portraits that reveal some inner truth about their subjects. It takes a photographer with a rare set of skills and vision to create such intimate and revealing work and we have always counted ourselves lucky to have Logan on our team.
While it doesn’t happen often, but sometimes, lightening does strike twice!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the very gifted Kelli Bramble has joined the Sprout Photo team!! We are great admirers of Kelli’s images and we think that she is a perfect fit for our studio in style, philosophy and sense of humor! We are so happy to be working with her and I can’t wait to see where Logan and Kelli are going to take Sprout in the coming months!

What follows is the text from Logan’s announcement from earlier this morning:
I am so excited to announce to all of you that this week, Kelli Bramble “portrait artist extrordinaire” will be joining our sprout photo team. Kelli has such a skill and talent for capturing the life and essence of her subjects and i think she is a perfect fit with for sprout photo. Please take a moment to view some of her portraits, and appreciate the beauty of her work and the skill of her craft. I asked Kelli to share a few words about herself to help introduce her to all of sprout photo’s friends and clients. I love her response…

“I came across this quote after staring at this blank page for way longer then I’ll ever admit…I’ve never proclaimed to have a gift for writing. First I thought about telling you the random things about me, like how I have an ongoing love affair with writing utensils, or how much I love ice cream (really, I do)…but, here’s the important thing to you: Summed up quickly, I’m a mama to 3 beautiful babes, and the desire to document their lives has led me to where I’m at as a photographer…Capturing a child or a family just as they are makes my heart sing. I love to tell stories, but not in words…and that is my absolute favorite thing about photography. When I look back at the pictures of my own kids, it’s not those say cheese snaps that make me smile, it’s those captured expressions, the stolen moments that you might forget even happened, were it not for that photograph…and nothing makes me happier.” Kelli Bramble
