Mountain Meadow Fun – Heather & Kyle | ZumaPhoto

%utah wedding photographer %wedding photojournalism ||We’ve got a number of really fun weddings queued up to share with you but first…

As the weather has started to turn colder here in Utah, I thought I’d put up something from back when things were a bit warmer. Heather and Kyle live in California, but Heather’s family owns a simply stunning vacation home in the foothills of Park City. A large number of their holidays are spent here in Utah and they definitely have the mountain life in their blood.

So we decided to use the Kimball valley of Park City as our backdrop for these two and I am still in love with the colors that we were able to find. Come join us!

There really is nothing that I love more than beautiful people….

…with an inherent sense of goofiness about each other.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, this is a couple that is both cool…

…and hot…

…but they’re also not terribly serious about either…

…and that’s just candy to a photographer.

It actually takes a lot of trust on the part of a client to allow you to shoot them not performing for the camera.

Just being can be quite a vulnerable feeling for most people, but the results are so worth it. Thank you, Heather, for your faith.

And a parting interpretation. I’m not really a huge fan of effects for effects sake, but occasionally I’ll see an image that really just begs for a certain treatment.
We have a big canvas gallery wrap of this in the studio and I just love the depth of the blues on this thing – sometimes I catch myself just staring at it. Its sort of hypnotic.

Thanks Heather & Kyle – you guys are the reason I love my job!

    Hi Mitch,

You did such a great job with the photography and not only that…..you made it a wonderful experience finding new places on a whim to take such beautiful pictures. I will never forget the day you did this and how fun it was for me to see you capture the love Kyle and Heather have for each other! (Kyle’s mom)

  4. Mitch says:

Yeah, well I asked them to move, but they were really stubborn. Stupid tress.

    Thanks, Kelli!
