Bonneville Salt Flats | M’Kenzie & Derek | ZumaPhoto

%utah wedding photographer %wedding photojournalism || As the weather turns cold here in Utah and the leaves change their color all along the Wasatch Front, I’m already thinking of warmer times and places.

I thought that I’d heat things up a bit with a short little post about a groomal session shot about 90 minutes west of here in the world famous – and toasty – Bonneville Salt Flats. It is a truly surreal place, but also a perfect backdrop to shoot the story of M’Kenzie and Derek.

Its a story as old as time: One man. One woman. One sweet 1960′s British sports car. Add salt to taste.

Ah, I feel warmer already. Now where’s that contact lens….

For the most discerning bride, the Allard J2 is the ultimate accessory.

I’ve been asked this about a hundred times so I’ll go ahead and anticipate the question – yes that’s really the sky.
I’ve underexposed it and pumped the saturation a bit, but that’s it.
